Nostalgia is alive and well in the present with a stroll through the pumpkin patch this last weekend of October.
The seasonal Stu Miller’s Pumpkin Patch at Rancho Cucamonga, which attracted many visitors for Pumpkin Sale and children activities, brought the spirit of Halloween and Thanksgiving early to the hearts of many.
While the adults navigated hundreds of pumpkins to choose from, the kids enjoyed the bungee jump, mechanical rides, games, petting zoo, and the giant inflatable slide. There were also games, food stalls to keep most everybody busy.
“We don’t have outdoor things like this in New York, it is too cold” said Emma Mapoy, a grandmother visiting from New York City. She took her five-year-old grandchild Alexis to the patch.
It was a good weekend activity, and a great part of family tradition that kids today would likely pass-on to the next generation.
“This is really a fun experience for me and for Alexis,” said Mapoy.
The Stu Miller’s Pumpkin Patch is located at 11200 Foothill Blvd.,Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. There is plenty of parking. It is open until November 6, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
